For people / Authors
You have books to write. We will keep your name search current.
Readers, editors, and event programmers all search your name before they commit to you. Keeping those results current is its own job. We do that job so you can keep writing.
Your search results get read before your sentences
An acquisitions editor weighing your proposal against three others searches you while you are still on the call. A festival programmer asks an AI assistant for writers who cover your subject. A reader who heard about your book from a friend types your name into Google before buying it. None of them tell you they looked.
Search does not organize a writing career for you. You can have years of work behind you and Google can still lead with a stale retail page, a profile you never claimed, or an old interview that no longer reflects how you think. If you write under a pen name, or share a name with someone better known, the results can actively work against you. And checking every result, every profile, and every AI assistant is a job in itself, when your actual job is the next book.
So here is exactly what hiring us looks like, in four steps and plain English.
01 Research · Getting the lay of the land
First we find out where you show up
We read you the way your readers do first. Your name. Your pen name, if you use one. Each of your titles. The “writers who cover this subject” question an editor or a programmer would ask. We run them on Google and in the AI assistants, because those give different answers more often than you would expect. An author can rank fine on Google and be missing from AI answers completely.
Then we audit every surface that speaks for you: the retail and review profiles readers actually land on, the bios that quietly went out of date, the interview from years ago that still outranks the current book. You would never see the whole picture at once. The people deciding whether to buy, sign, or book you see nothing else.
02 Plan · Spelled out in plain language
Then we put the plan in plain English
Publishing already buried you in vague marketing advice. Ours is a conversation. We walk you through what the research found, what should change first, what it costs, and what to expect month by month. We take complicated work and make it simple, and you will understand every line before you say yes to anything.
03 Execute · This is where we shine
Then the work is ours
We start the build at your own front door: the author website, repaired or built fresh, so your name has one authoritative home. We claim and correct the profiles that speak for you. We pursue press coverage that gives search and AI assistants something current to cite, and where the coverage supports it, we pursue and manage a Wikipedia page, the source AI assistants treat as fact when a reader asks for books like yours. Whatever else the plan calls for, we handle it. You get back to the manuscript.
We have worked with authors before, at every stage from first book to backlist. We measure the footprint around the current work: which pages rank for each name and title, whether profiles agree, and what the AI assistants cite. That gives each release a clear baseline and a practical list of what to improve next. The engagements we can show are in our case studies, with the numbers attached.
04 Monitor · You should not have to watch this
Then we watch it between books
A book's results move in cycles: reviews land, a launch spikes and fades, AI assistants revise what they say about you and your books. None of that should pull you away from writing, so tracking it is our job. We check your footprint weekly and send a monthly report in plain English: what changed, what we did about it, and what comes next. Short enough to read between chapters.
Watching closely has a second benefit. If something catches fire, a review pile-on, an old story resurfacing the week of your launch, we are already reading it with your baseline in hand, and we can begin responding the same day. That is what crisis response looks like when the people responding know your whole backlist.

We search the pen name too.
The stale retail page, the profile you never claimed, the old interview still sitting above the current book: we find them, rank them, and tell you what reordering page one takes before the next pub date. Confidential, always.
