I already run Google and Meta ads. Why does branded search matter?

Because clicking is not buying. People see the ad, then they go look you up before they spend money. That look-you-up moment is where they make up their mind. If it turns up a complaint thread or some "is this a scam" post, they are gone, and you still got charged for the click. We make that search back you up instead of sink you.
